We have all heard of the tragedy that happened in Haiti. An earthquake hit and killed a countless number of people. The ones who managed to stay alive have to face the harsh reality of not having food, water, or shelter. The thought of knowing an aftershock may occur at any moment is ever present in their minds. People are dying every day. Photos show dead bodies piled up, as if to be a scene from a bad horror movie. The smell is said to be horrific.

I just recently heard a story of two young guys (Jay and Jeremy), in there mid 20's, who were in Haiti since september, as a part of a mission trip. There they were helping out in orphanages taking care of the children. They were there when the earthquake hit. There story was just unbelievable. Hearing their story gives you chills down your spine. They said that once the earthquake was over, once people were able to stand, all you heard was people yell out "JESUS".

These men are making a trip back out to the town where they served. Their plan is to collect money, buy food in the Dominican Republic, and from there fly via helicopter to the town. I will be making a donation to help out the cause. If you would like to donate, any amount of money is highly appreciated.

What oraganizations are doing is they are starting with the most populated cities to the least. So that means it may be months untill the smaller towns get help, if at all. Lespwa Worldwide have an orphanage 30 miles away from Port-au-Prince and they will be one of the many villages to receive help much later then when they need it.

All the money you donate will be given directly to Lespwa Worldwide.
